Come on out to celebrate the traditional mas characters of Trinidad & Tobago’s carnival!

Expect to see and get up close and personal with

  • Jab Molaissie/Blue Devils
  • Jab Jab
  • Dame Lorraine
  • Fancy Indians
  • Midnight Robbers
  • and more


Make photographs from Behind the Scenes as the masqueraders get ready with paint, and glitter and makeup to stageside as they portray their characters in front of the judges hoping to cop the grand prize!

As usual, our Safari Leaders will be on hand to help you with any photographic challenges you may have on the night.

Date: Tuesday, 18th February 2020

Time: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM*

Cost: Members $150 & Non-Members $175

Meeting place & parking: Street Parking. We will be meeting by the benches in the middle of the park.

Under 18’s welcome, but must be accompanied by a paying adult.

About the Author:

Chad considers himself lucky to make photographs and tell remarkable stories for a living. His interests lie in commercial, documentary and travel photography. Before jumping off the cliff, he worked as an electrical engineer in design, manufacturing and management for over 20 years. He actively promotes sustainability through his work with the green building movement, once drove solo coast to coast across North America and has been known to cook a mean risotto.
